Out Of The Lair is an outstanding Metal band hailing from Greece! It was in 1995, guitarist / singer Spyros, drummer Dionysis Nikolaidis, guitar player John Ayiub and bassist Nikos Fronimos decided to start raising hell with a band called Wolverine and a first demo was recorded only a few months after. A new bassist and guitar player were found later on. From that moment, the band wants to play under a new bandname called Out Of The Lair! The guys went to the studio and recorded two new songs which constitute the soundtrack of Everos PC game, released and distibuted by Genadios, back in November 2001. Three months later, a second guitarist named Dim (ex-Desertome, Transcending Bizarre) joins the band. Spending many hours and hard working in the rehearsal room results in great reactions from outside. Several concerts were booked and Out Of Lair played as support for band like: Candlemass, Nevermore, Evergrey, Sentenced and many others. On January of 2003, they went to the Rock Sound Studios to record a first full length album. This debut album entitled "Psychotears" and is a totally self financed golden piece of Metal! The album is produced and mixed by Out Of The lair themselves and George Prigos (Less Than Human, Into The Gore, Homo Iratus). Additional guest 'aggressive' vocals performed by Rotting Christ vocalist Sakis. It's a real fantastic album included 9 songs that truly makes your head starts to bang like hell. An awesome mixture of Power / Speed and Thrash Metal with high (sometimes aggressive) vocals, devastating riffs and watch out for all the guitar solo's which are played so fast and so pure by Mr. Dim. I'd like to call him a nowadays guitar revelation. Besides the great songs also multimedia stuff available for PC, consisted by all the necessary info about the band such asbiography, pictures, lyrics, logo and more.
