PRETTIES FOR YOU The Greek band “OUT OF THE LAIR” started in 1995. The name in those days was “Wolverine”, but in 2000 they changed the band name. The four members of this heavy power metal band are George Kantzios (bas), Dionysis Nikolaidis (drums), Spyros (guitars and vocals) and Dim (guitars). It's my first experience with this band and the music they make isn't bad at all. The production isn't that good, but if you think that the guys did it themselves and played for everything, I must say they did a great job. And what a job they did on the looks of it all. The CD comes in a slipcase and contains a very beautiful multimedia part which contains a bio, pictures of the band and some video's. I think the boys spend all their money on this release. In Greece this band must be very well known, because they already played with a lot of big bands. You want to hear some names? Candlemass, Nevermore, Evergrey, Sentenced, Rotting Christ, Primordial and many more! A pity that this band hasn't been signed to a record label yet so it will be difficult to get this cd. But if you check the bands site, you will be able to listen to some songs and order this cd.
